Although the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and its amendments under the Police and Justice Act 2006 is the main legislation which sets out how community safety practitioners operate, there is a range of other legislation which you may use in your job. Enlarged the group of partners required to work on community safety to include: Police Authorities, Fire Authorities and Primary Care Trusts (in Wales, every Health Authority). Requires CDRPs to include substance misuse within their strategies and audits, and allowed them to merge with DAATs if desired. Brings together and enhances the previous strands of legislation that touched upon anti-social behaviour. Fireworks Act 2003 The Act is located: 2004 Regulations: Guidance: Other resources:

This establishes a single integrated scheme for licensing premises. Criminal Justice Act 2003 The Act is located:
