Our client, a high performing Probation Trust, has an urgent requirement for Community Payback Supervisors

This is a superb opportunity for those who are looking for a part time role to help keep them busy!

Community Payback is a court sentence which requires youth and adult offenders to undertake unpaid work for the community. It aims to give the offender an opportunity to make amends for their behaviour whilst still being a demanding punishment.


You must work positively working with groups of offenders to help influence their attitudes and behaviour so that they are less likely to re-offend. You need to be confident with good communication skills and an ability to motivate people as well as being practical. You will be offered week day and weekend shifts on a casual basis.


Successful candidates will have previous experience of working with offenders and come from a Police, Probation, Youth Offending or Housing backgrounds. You should also have practical experience of work such as Gardening, DIY, decorating etc


Your main duties will include supervising a team of offenders (up to 6) while carrying out community service tasks including gardening, litter picking or ground clearance. No previous experience is necessary as on the job training will be given.


This is a contract position starting ASAP



Candidates will need an Enhanced CRB from within 1 year-if you're interested in this role, but don't have an enhanced CRB, please contact us.



Hourly rate -£10 per hour
