Are an experienced Street Warden? Recently been made redundant and looking for an immediate start?
Our client is seeking a Neighbourhood Warden to join their team based in South London to assist their Warden team with reducing minor forms of Anti-Social Behaviour around the local area.
The duties of this role consist of:
- Undertaking foot patrols in teams of two around the local residential areas, estates, park and high street to provide visible presence to local residents
- Visiting local residents, particularly those that are most fearful of crime, to provide them with reassurance and advice on home safety
- Engaging with young people on a daily basis. At times you may be involved in setting up sports activites for local youths.
- Approaching groups of youths with the purpose of building a rapport and trusting relationships
- Liaising with the Police and other agencies involved within crime reduction
To be considered for this post, you will ideally have a background as either a Street Warden/Neighbourhood Warden from a Local Authority or a PCSO or Police Officer. This role is all about being the eyes and ears of the borough with the purpose of making people safe whilst assisting in reducing crime. Your on feet all day, so please bare this in mind before applying.

Candidates will need an Enhanced CRB Clearance for this position as it involves dealing with potentially vunerable people.
