Bedfordshire Probation Trust are currently recruiting for a Probation Service Officer (PSO) to join their team on a temporary basis working on a full time basis for 3 months potentially ongoing.  This post requires someone who already has experience as a PSO working within probation and who holds a current CRB check.

You must therefore have experience of:

• Gathering information and interviewing offenders


• Assessing the risk of an offender to the public


• Preparing court reports for pre-sentencing, bail or breach


• To provide services to the courts, offenders, families, victims and the wider community


• Experience of multi-agency working to provide all-round support for the offender


• Maintaining accurate case notes

You must hold a minimum of 12 months experience and be available at short notice to commence this post.
